Major: Nursing
Class Standing: Sophomore
Ethnicity: Korean

Hello! I am Esther Lee, a sophomore majoring in Nursing. I was born in State College yet grew up in South Korea. When I was in first grade in elementary school, I lived in Texas for a year and a half. I came back to State College at the beginning of my eighth grade year from Korea. I know my way around here, so feel free to ask any questions!

During my spare time, I enjoy watching movies and dramas. I also love listening to music, eating and sleeping! I am BIG eater and love cooking Korean food. As of right now, I am involved in Global Brigades, and have traveled to Honduras this summer for a medical and dental brigade with a hybrid on water! I have also traveled to Mexico last summer for a mission trip and have volunteered in rural areas in Korea to teach English. Upon graduation, I wish to work as a neonatal nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Ultimately, my dream is to create a non-profit organization that helps students who have a passion for service to other by strengthening their own unique talents and teaching them how to take part in helping this world with the talents they possess. I am so pleased to take part in this mentoring program! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments! I would love to listen to your story and also look forward in sharing my experiences here at Penn State with you.
