Hi everyone, welcome to AASIA! I am graduating early this semester and am excited to see what is in store for us this fall. I was a mentor last year and had a positive experience helping an incoming Freshman figure out how to balance academics with his social life and personal well-being, all of which can be an overwhelming process. I was a very active mentor last year and hosted game nights, pot lucks, and a holiday gift exchange. I hope to do the same this semester!

I am actively involved in many activities and cannot stress how important it is to get involved your freshman year -- join something you are passionate about or interested in learning more about! I am involved with UNICEF, Student Nutrition Association, FastStart, and the Student Sustainability Advisory Council. This will also be my third semester being a Teaching Assistant for the Nutrition Department. From this wide array of activities, I have met my best friends, developed my communication skills, and made many connections with other Penn State students, faculty, and even had dinner at President Barron’s home.

In my free time, I love cooking (if you ever need a home cooked meal, I’m your girl!), thrift shopping, running, gardening, and painting.

I look forward to meeting everyone in the program!
