Hello Everyone! My name is Eric and I am elated to be one of your coordinators for the fall 2016 semester. I have been apart of the AASIA Mentoring Program for three years now, and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made, besides deciding to attend Penn State. I have spent two years as a mentor, whereas this will be my first time as a coordinator. After graduating from Penn State, I aspire to be living in NYC and pursing a career that entails marketing, advertising, fashion, and social media. I was born in Flushing, NY and moved to West Caldwell, NJ when I was just four years old. This past summer, I have two internships going on simultaneously. I am the Manager of Fashion Styling/Wardrobe at PLITZS Fashion Marketing, as well as an Associate Account Executive of New Business Development at Brand Connections. Not only am I a business-minded individual, but I have also found a way to incorporate my passion for fashion into my career aspirations. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do; I have been fortunate enough to travel to various countries including Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Aruba, Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. During my spare time, I enjoy playing volleyball and tennis, as well as hanging out with my friends.

Since, this will be my last semester here at Penn State I want you all to get to know me in some way, shape or form, even if it is just a simple ‘Hello’. Through the AASIA Mentoring Program I have learned the importance of the preservation of Asian-American identity and culture, in an environment that tends to be predominately Caucasian-American.
