Major: Security Risk Analysis - Information and Cyber Security and Supply Chain
Class Standing: Sophomore
Ethnicity: Chinese

Hi! My name's Calvin Ho and I'm a Sophomore here at both the College of Information Sciences and Technology as well as the Smeal College of Business planning to major in Security Risk Analysis - Information and Cyber Security and Supply Chain. While I am extremely motivated in all areas of my academia, I am primarily interested in ensuring each of you flourish within your years here at Penn State!

Some fun facts: I actually began as a Journalism major in the College of Communications and wrote a slew of articles for both Onward State and The Daily Collegian (while I have given up on my dream to be the next Christiane Amanpour, I still love writing and reading and would love for any of you involved in this program to check those two news medias out!). I'm involved in a variety of extracurricular activities here like the Security Risk Analysis Club, the IA Assurance Club, the Red Cell Analytics Lab, Young Life, Panorama, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics as well as the Association for Computing Machinery.

I'm from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and I've loved every minute being in State College.

It's a little cliche to say but Penn State truly is the best place to be. I have seen myself grow immensely - from being an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the College of Liberal Arts to securing an internship with Crayola over the summer as a Freshman!

I am now currently conducting research with Professor Mahony in the College of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as well as working par-time in IT at the Wagner Service Desk and will be interning with Deloitte over the Winter for Human Capital Consulting.

Please feel free to reach out to me (even if I don't end up being your mentor) at: cvh5567@psu.edu. I'd be happy to meet and just speak on behalf of my experiences and all. Looking forward to an amazing Fall semester!
