Muhammad Wasil Wahi-Anwar
Wasil is a dynamic student who is very passionate about the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). He has achieved published success in this area with an experimental design project to study the use of an infrared motion detector in MRI imaging that helps minimize patient movement. He has been on the dean’s list for six semesters and has scored in the 94th percentile in math on the General Records Examination (GRE). His honors and awards include the Weyenberg Graduate Fellowship, Bert Elsbach Honors Scholarship in Physics and membership in the Pi Sigma Pi Physics Honors Society. This fall, he will continue his academic interest in the Bio-Medical Physics Graduate Program at UCLA.
