National Association of Black Accountants (NABA)
The mission of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), Inc. is to address the professional needs of its members and to build leaders that shape the future of the accounting and finance profession with an unfaltering commitment to inspire the same in their successors. Established in 1969 with 136 African-American Certified Public Accountants (CPA's), NABA has grown to over 1,000,000 throughout the United States.
The local NABA chapter, which is made up of a diverse group of business students (25 members), focuses upon the professional development of business students through internships, leadership initiatives, collaboration, networking, and a desire to give back to the Penn State community.
