Estella Obi-Tabot

Estella Obi-Tabot  B.S., Biobehavioral Health

Originally from Boston, prior to relocating to Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, Estella Obi-Tabot will graduate with a degree in Biobehavioral Health and a minor in Bioethics and Medical Humanities. During her time as a student, Estella has grown in service by volunteering in the University Health Services Health Promotion Wellness Department, educating peers on healthy behaviors such as safe drinking, proper nutrition, coping with stress, and HIV counseling. After participating in two alternative spring break trips, she led a trip to Washington, D.C., working with those experiencing hunger and homelessness. Estella served as the Day of Service director for the MLK, Jr. Commemoration where she led over 30 team leaders and 200 volunteers in serving the State College community. She has been on the executive board for the Biobehavioral Health Society for three years, serving as president her junior year. She plans to incorporate her passion for social justice advocacy in a career in public health.
