Zachary Dyer
B.S., Information Sciences and Technology
Zachary Dyer is a first-generation student from New York. He plans to graduate this August with a specialization in Design and Development. While the first year in college was challenging for Zachary, he was able to make significant academic improvements, once he discovered his new interests within the College of Information Sciences and Technology. He obtained a grade-point average of 3.0 or better during the last four semesters at Penn State, placing him on the Dean’s List in the fall 2018 semester. Currently, he is successfully balancing a full credit course load, working toward completing his internship in the College of Arts and Architecture, and working part-time at a retail store. The past four years has had many ‘ups and downs’ for Zachary, but he is proud of his persistence in pursuing, and ultimately attaining, a Penn State degree. Zachary is eagerly looking forward to what comes next.
