Black Male Empowerment Group (BMEG)

The Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) in conjunction with the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will resume weekly meetings of the Black Male Empowerment Group. This is a facilitated open discussion environment for African American men who meet weekly within a safe space. The Black Male Empowerment Group explores shared experiences as Black men on a majority White campus. The goal is to assist men of color with identifying ways to fully embrace the Penn State experience through academic success, the development of community service initiatives, and relationship building, while taking advantage of all academic and social opportunities within the University.
