Trisha Phillip, B.A.

Graduate Assistant Counselor

Trisha Phillip

Trisha Phillip is a Gainesville, Florida native, who recently graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Educational Studies. Due to her identity and experience as a proud first-generation student, Trisha has become increasingly passionate about promoting and supporting the interests of underrepresented groups on college campuses. She aspires to help create an inclusive and welcoming campus community that is conducive to the holistic development of all students.

Trisha is currently pursuing her Master's in Counselor Education with an emphasis on Career Counseling. She believes in creating positive and individualized relationships with students, where she encourages them to capitalize on their strengths, instead of focusing on perceived weaknesses or past failures. Trisha is very excited to begin working with students at the MRC and hopes to increase self-awareness amongst students, while empowering them to actively engage and invest in their futures.
