JAWS
JAWS is a screen reader developed for those with limited-no vision. This program will read any text on the users screen, and has a number of features that make a computer considerably easier and more accessible for an individual with vision impairment.
NVDA
NVDA stands for NonVisual Desktop Access. The program is a free screen reading program that can read everything on your desktop, similar to Jaws. The program supports over 20 languages and can be run as a portable version from a USB device.
Thunder
Thunder is a free screen reading program, similar to JAWS. With Thunder, users can have anything that appears on their computer screen read out loud to them.
WebbIE
The WebbIE software programs are programs that make it easier for blind and visually-impaired people, especially using screen readers, to browse the web, get the latest news, listen to podcasts and radio stations and other common tasks. They work with any screen reader, including JAWS, WindowEyes, Thunder, NVDA and Narrator.
