This hands-on session will focus on optimizing materials for accessibility using tools in Word and PowerPoint. Participants will use these tools to create a Word document and a PowerPoint presentation that has been optimized for accessibility. Best practices for formatting and design will be discussed.
Objectives
- Explore best practices for optimizing for accessibility
- Apply and modify heading styles
- Format tables and lists
- Add alternative text and captions to images

After registration, you will be provided with a link to join the session a few minutes before the start time in order to participate. This training session is behind WebAccess and requires a Penn State or Friends of Penn State (FPS) access account.
