“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.” – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince.

Ingrid has worked for over forty years in higher education pre-college enrichment programs, and over nine of those years have been spent with Penn State.

Outside of school, Ingrid frequently volunteers in her community. She is the Scholarship Chair for the Woman’s Board of Youngstown. She serves as a Trustee for the Marian Resch Foundation, which provides scholarship money for identified colleges and funds their early intervention and pre-college enrichment programs. She also serves on the Wittenberg University Alumni Board.

Ingrid maintains interest in breast cancer issues and fundraising, domestic violence and shelter issues, and eldercare issues. She absolutely loves being a MorMor (Grandma), reading, traveling, and volunteering at her church.
