Administrative Support, Talent Search Program

  |  814-863-7359

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”— Ferris Bueller

Meredith has worked for Penn State’s Talent Search Program since November 2007.

While Meredith considers herself to be a “behind the scenes” member of our staff, she still feels very connected to our students and their journey. As an Administrative Support Assistant, her role is to provide support to the administrators and counseling staff. Providing staff support is a broad job description, but to her it means taking good care of them so they can spend more of their time taking great care of our students.  When asked to reflect on her experiences with the Talent Search Program, Meredith states:

“The Penn State Talent Search Program’s counseling staff is a wonderful collection of people that inspire me daily with their dedication to student success. I’m very fortunate to be a member of this team, to play a part in this program’s mission, and to assist in creating the supporting experience that helps our students to accomplish great things and achieve their goals!”

Meredith was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, a.k.a. Elvis, USA. When she tells most people where she is from, she is usually asked if she has ever been to Graceland. The answer is yes, twice, and it’s a great tour!

With a large blended family at home that includes seven children, Meredith doesn’t usually have extra time for personal interests or hobbies. She loves movies, tacos, backyard bonfires, pumpkin spice lattés, bowling, mini golf, lazy days at the beach, that first big snow, etc.
