Black and Latino Male Empowerment Group (BLMEG)

BLMEG is a drop-in discussion group centering the shared experiences of Black and Latino men on a majority campus. The goal of this group is to identify ways in which students can fully embrace the Penn State experience through academic success, community service initiatives, and relationship building, while taking advantage of all academic and social opportunities within the University.

BLMEG is a facilitated open discussion environment in which the shared experiences of Black and Latino men on a majority campus are explored.

BLMEG are open to all students regardless of sex, gender, sexual orientation, race, or any other protected class.

Our Goal

The goal of this drop-in group is to identify ways in which students can fully embrace the Penn State experience through academic success, community service initiatives, and relationship building, while taking advantage of all academic and social opportunities within the University. Information disclosed during these private meetings is considered confidential.

The Black and Latino Male Empowerment Group meets biweekly Fall 2023 meeting dates will be announced soon.
