Eric Pratt is the Chief Credit Officer for Brightwood Capital. Mr. Pratt has 20 years of experience on Wall Street including service as the Deputy Chief Risk Officer & Chief Credit Officer Americas for Mizuho Financial Group, Global Head of Credit Portfolio Management for Wells Fargo’s Corporate & Investment Bank, and other senior roles at JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank.

Mr. Pratt has served on the Board of Directors for multiple not-for-profit entities focusing on social services education, religious activities, and financial
services. Mr. Pratt recently completed two terms on the Board for the International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers (“IACPM”), an industry association established to further the practice of credit exposure management.

Mr. Pratt received a dual B.S. in Business Logistics & International Business from the Smeal College of Business and an MBA in Finance & Accounting from Georgetown University. He is the father of two teenage children.

As a Bunton-Waller alumnus, Eric shares firsthand insight into the impact of Educational Equity at Penn State, including its challenges and progress. His
passion stems from personal experiences coupled with a deep commitment to addressing students’ gaps, including his engagement on the Advisory Board and ongoing volunteer advocacy with Equity students and the Omega Psi Phi Nu fraternity.

With a thoughtful and gracious approach to addressing challenges, Eric ensures that considerations and solutions are astute, practical and well-considered.
