Serves as a primary point of contact for support, professional development, and career advancement for all faculty—including tenure-track, tenured, non–tenure line, and research faculty—who may encounter barriers to full participation and success in the academic community.
Senior Faculty Mentors and other resources complement faculty affairs and faculty development related offices in the central, college, and Commonwealth administrations. It offers services and resources that enhance support for the recruitment, retention, and advancement of faculty members by fostering a more welcoming workplace environment that responds to its constituents needs.
