Faculty Toolkit

The Faculty Toolkit offers faculty a regular electronic communique and access to a collection of documents generously submitted by colleagues as examples of model  curriculum vitas; promotion and tenure dossiers, including faculty-written teaching, research, and service letters; grant and fellowship proposal writing as well as other informative materials. The content of the Toolkit will be made available to Penn State faculty members, only.

Lab image with faculty membersTransparency and access to information are fundamental to inclusive and equitable workplace environments. Faculty members need and want information that clarifies job expectations, especially as they are related to advancement and annual reviews.

The more transparent and accessible the information, the more comfortable and certain faculty are as they make decisions about the value of their contributions and how best to balance commitments to teaching, service, and research activities.

The Faculty Toolkit, once complete, will offer faculty a regular electronic communique and access to a collection of documents generously submitted by colleagues as examples of model  curriculum vitas; promotion and tenure dossiers, including faculty-written teaching, research, and service letters; grant and fellowship proposal writing as well as other informative materials. The content of the Toolkit will be made available to Penn State faculty members, only.

The expected date of availability of this resource is Spring 2024
