Undergraduate Internship Opportunities

The Office of Educational Equity's Undergraduate Internship gives students the chance to develop professional skills, engage in storytelling, and contribute to Penn State’s mission. These semester-long, project-based internships combine professional development with meaningful impact.

What You'll Do

Interns take ownership of a project from start to finish while developing professional skills that support career readiness. You will

  • Manage a project from proposal to final presentation.
  • Build skills in communication, storytelling, and research.
  • Apply accessibility best practices to all deliverables.
  • Receive mentoring and feedback from staff.

How to Apply

The internship is open to all Penn State undergraduates who meet the following eligibility guidelines:

  • Currently enrolled as a Penn State undergraduate student.
  • Commitment to a semester-long internship.
    • Academic year: 10–15 hours/week
    • Summer: 15–20 hours/week
