Events hosted by Senior Faculty Mentors

Dear Penn State Faculty Community:

University Senior Faculty Mentors have opened registration for “Faculty Pathway: Navigating Your Academic Career” a new series of workshops that address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by faculty at each stage of the career cycle. Workshops range from a focus on navigating promotion and tenure, balancing teaching, research, and service, and offering guidance and best practices for continued growth and success.

The Senior Faculty Mentor resources are open to all faculty – early-career, midcareer, and senior regardless of tenure or nontenure line appointment. The program is built upon the experiences of marginalized faculty groups. It is committed to serving all faculty regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected class. Follow this link [link to bio page] to meet the university’s Senior Faculty Mentors and see the calendar below to register for workshops and activities.

Hope to see you at one or all of the events!
