Christal Graham-Jones
- Student Success Counselor, Serving Farrell and Sharon Area School Districts
Christal Graham-Jones began her career with Penn State Talent Search in 2006 serving the students in Sharon City and Farrell Area School Districts. A life-long resident and first-generation student of the community, Christal’s greatest passion has become to advocate for students to complete high school and then obtain a degree. She works with students and their families to overcome the obstacles facing them through early career exploration, post-secondary information, and academic advising. She loves that as part of her job she can celebrate alongside students as they achieve post-secondary success. Christal has held many roles within local and regional TRIO organizations, including PA TRIO President from 2019-2020. In 2021, she joined MEAEOPP’S Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and became PA TRIO’s Ad Hock Chair for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. In 2023, Christal began serving on the Professional Development Planning Committee for the Office of Educational Equity where she collaborates with leadership and other departmental staff to provide yearly training and education opportunities. Christal’s talents as a conference planner, workshop presenter, and motivational speaker go beyond TRIO and are regularly displayed in both her community and nationally through her non-profit, Isaiah 49, Inc./Remnant Lighthouse International Ministries.
