Welcome to Upward Bound Programs

Upward Bound is a federally-funded program that helps high-school students gain academic skills and motivation to continue their education beyond high school. At Penn State, Upward Bound Programs include the Upward Bound, Upward Bound Migrant and Upward Bound Math and Science grants and serve over 249 students each year from six target high schools in six counties — Berks, Dauphin, Huntingdon, Luzerne, Mifflin, and Perry.
