Students accepted into Upward Bound Programs typically have the following: * A desire to pursue post-secondary education (university or technical school) * A minimum of a 2.5 GPA (C or 80% average) * Regular attendance in high school (no unexcused absences or excessive tardies) * No disciplinary actions, suspensions or dismissals at school
Eligibility Requirements
Upward Bound Programs is primarily available to students who meet the following requirements:
- First in family to complete a four-year baccalaureate degree
- Fall within the designated federal income guidelines

- Are you a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or in the process of applying for citizenship?
- Do you want to attend college or get a certification after high school?
