Important Update Regarding Services from the Multicultural Resource Center

Over the past few months, discussions have been underway regarding the unique functions of the Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) and exploring alternative approaches to better support low-income and first-generation students. As we do with many areas across the university, we are always reviewing the ways we support students, and we believe there are opportunities to better meet the needs of our students. Based on our discussions, the MRC will transition from its traditional service model. Please rest assured that it is our priority to ensure that you are connected to the necessary resources to support your needs. We are still working through the specific changes. The MRC will continue to provide support through the end of the Spring 2024 semester should you need to reconnect with your MRC counselor.

Please find a list of the contacts for all offices of diversity, equity, and inclusion for each college and a list of additional resources you may connect with should you require further support.

If you need support in contacting the diversity, equity, and inclusion office in your college, please contact the Office of the Associate Vice Provost for Educational Equity at We understand that change can be challenging, and we are here to assist you during this transition period.

The University and its leadership remain fully committed to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across all facets of campus life and within the broader community.

Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
