Ashley joined Penn State as a Veterans Counselor/School Certifying Official with the Office of Veteran’s Programs in July 2022. She grew up in the area with a family of Penn State fans, and so is proud to now work for the University. She is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, class of 2009, where she also commissioned through their ROTC program. She has since served as an S1 officer at both Battalion and Brigade levels in the PA Army National Guard, deployed to Kuwait 2012-2013, and currently serve as the Human Resource Officer for the Training Center at Fort Indiantown Gap.
Ashley holds a Practical Nursing License with experience in pediatrics, the department of corrections and geriatric care. In addition, she will graduate from Southern New Hampshire University with an MS in Human Resource Management in January 2023. She is the single mother of two amazing and sassy children, who have become the reason for everything she does. Her favorite things to do include outside time with her kids, any time she can get with her family, and laughing with her friends. She also enjoys quiet evenings in front of a fire with a good book and occasionally painting.
