The Office of Veterans Programs provides support to all Penn State military-affiliated students using Department of Veterans Affairs Educational Benefits as required by the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 38, Chapter 1, Part 21, and under Title 10 of the United States Code.

Penn State also provides in-state tuition to qualifying veterans and their qualifying dependents based on Pennsylvania General Assembly 2023, Act 14m HB 804: Military Personnel – Residency Status for Students – Residency of Students
In addition to accurate and expedient certification of veterans education benefits, the Office of Veterans Programs offers comprehensive counseling, programming, advocacy and support to all military-connected students, ensuring continuity and success throughout their Penn State experience.
