Renée is an Air Force veteran, a 20+ year military spouse, an Army kid, and a first-generation college graduate due in large part to her earned Montgomery GI Bill® benefit. Renée earned her Bachelors of Science in Social Psychology from Park University and her Masters of Social Work from Radford University. As the Senior Director of the Office of Veterans programs, she is responsible for the oversight and evaluation of Department of Veteran Affairs education benefits processing for Penn State’s 24 campuses. In addition, she provides counseling services and oversees military- affiliated programming and outreach services for the Penn State University Park campus. Renée is a licensed social worker and is a doctoral candidate in Penn State’s Lifelong Learning and Adult Education program. In her spare time, Renee enjoys spending time with her family and friends, discovering new music, camping, reading, and being a dog mom to Podrick, Fred, and Ethel.
