The group’s goal is to create a casual, comfortable, and supportive environment for students and provide opportunities to connect with peers who may have similar experiences as members of the college community.

The group will function under an open format meaning students are welcome to come and go at their convenience! This is not a counseling or therapy session but instead a chance to casually connect with peers.

What is the meeting format?
This peer group meets biweekly for one hour. Meetings will be held in-person every other Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in SDR’s 104 Boucke Building (Student Center)

Who is the ACRES Project?
The ARES Project (Adults Creating Residential & Employment Solutions) is a local non-profit developed to support adults with autism and foster their social, vocational, and self-advocacy skills. More information is available on their website:  https://acresproject.org/.
