The Executive Functioning Skill Lab is a series of practical, hands-on sessions designed to help you plan, get started, stay on track, and follow through when college feels overwhelming. Each session focuses on one tool you can use right away.
Week 1: Understanding Executive Functioning & Time Use
October 13 & 14
Learn why planning, organization, time awareness, and follow-through can be difficult and try practical tools that make deadlines, responsibilities, and next steps more visible.
Week 2: Planning & Prioritizing
October 20 & 21
Learn how to map deadlines, plan for exams and accommodations, prioritize competing demands, and create realistic action plans.
Week 3: Starting Tasks & Getting Unstuck
October 27 & 28
Explore common barriers to getting started, break overwhelming tasks into manageable steps, and identify practical strategies for moving forward.
Week 4: Building Sustainable Systems
November 3 & 4
Develop flexible routines, planning habits, and support systems that work with how you think, learn, and manage responsibilities.
